CANTORS
Cantors are welcomers; their mission is to animate, bring to life, give zest, encourage, move to action. Animator comes from the root word anima, which means “spirit” or “breathe.” Cantors brings spirit to the Assembly. They are missionaries who cannot keep the good news to themselves. The cantor’s job description is to summon other guests to share the feast, where love will welcome those who had been lost and least.

INSTRUMENTALIST
Are you a musician who plays percussion, keyboard instrument, woodwinds, strings, or brass?
Whether you are a beginner, a returning musician, or a seasoned professional, the St. Agnes Music Ministry welcomes you. You might feel tempted to dismiss the idea, thinking you're not skilled enough or don't have the time. However, you'll be amazed at the beauty a simple one-line melody, or the addition of percussion can contribute. We ensure to include only what you can comfortably manage musically. Our music is planned well in advance, allowing ample time for preparation and rehearsal.
Throughout the liturgical year, different seasons lend themselves to distinctive styles and tones of music. From more introspective to outwardly joyous celebrations, we can incorporate your talents to enrich the music.
